Dancing with the Meadow

Annika Akey

Take a deep breath
Smell it?
Closing around you
Aroma so sweet, so calm, so...
Soft, gentle, moving your body side to side
Pulling you deeper and deeper inside
They call it Dancing with the Meadow
They say it's never ending, the gentle pull of the grass
They call it Dancing with the Meadow
Keeping you there is what it does best
Never letting you go
Never saying goodbye
Never letting you free
They call it Dancing with the Meadow
The children play never leaving
The parents call and call and never stop
They call it Dancing with the Meadow
