Lydia Poitras, age seventeen, is a senior at Newfound Regional High School who is passionate about literature (particularly sci-fi), and nature. Lydia has been a fiction and poetry reader at Under the Madness Magazine since June of 2023, and is a two-time published author for Young Authors U.S. Annual Showcase (2022-2023). Additionally, as a member of her school's literary magazine, Lydia has come to cherish the unique voices of each individual writer, and marvels at the emotional capacity that carefully crafted diction can provide.
