BIO:
Elizabeth Mooney is fourteen years old. She is an eighth grader at The Whitefield School in northern New Hampshire, above Franconia Notch. Elizabeth loves reading about historical events. She enjoys coming up with stories about what she thinks it would have been like to live back in any given time. Her favorite books are The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne, Refugee and Ground Zero by Alan Gratz, and The Young Landlords by Walter Dean Myers. These stories are what started her interest in creative writing. If there is anything Elizabeth has learned from creative writing, it is that every person has a story to tell and that it's their own experiences that shape and change that story.
